The Les Cépages Pinot Noir IGP Pays d'Oc by Baron Philippe de Rothschild presents itself in the glass of a beautiful ruby red color. On the nose dominate fruity aromas of berries, raspberry and cherry, which, when the wine had a little more oxygen contact before drinking, are surrounded by nuances of vanilla and roasted aromas. On the palate, this fruity fullness continues, accentuated by red fruits. Gentle and soft tannins, typical of this variety in its best expression, underline the harmonious palate feeling. The full-bodied, round finish is characterized by vanilla notes.
Food pairing for Les Cépages Pinot Noir Pays d'Oc by Baron Philippe de Rothschild
This pure, elegant, fruity Les Cépages Pinot Noir IGP Pays d'Oc by Barone Philippe Rothschild from the Languedoc-Roussillon goes perfectly with a bovine carpaccio, a traditional carbonade Flamande, a stew with meat like goulash or sliced sauce, or a delicious stew with Lamb. This French Pinot Noir is also recommended for not too intense country-style soft cheese or medium-riped cheeses of the region.
This beautiful Pinto Noir Pays d'Oc should be opened about an hour before serving.
The Baron Philippe de Rothschild estate and the project "Les Cépages"
Since 1995, Baron Philippe de Rothschild has been producing varietal wines. The Baroness Philippine de Rotschild found the ideal conditions for this new project in the vineyards of the Languedoc-Roussillon, close to the Mediterranean coast and not far from the eastern Pyrenees.
The result was the line "Les Cépages" (French for grape variety), for the respective grape variety typical wines, modern, uncomplicated, with its own character, which particularly young people and wine novices should offer easy access to the world of the Rothschild wines, and the Baronesse also enjoyed itself.
