Prices incl. VAT plus shipping costs
The grape varieties of the line Les Cépages of Baron Philippe de Rothschild are a fine example of modern, easily accessible French wines.
The vines for the Les Cépages Merlot IGP Pays d'Oc grow in the best locations of Languedoc-Roussillon. This Merlot from Baron Philippe de Rothschild presents itself in the glass with intense purple with garnet nuances. On the nose it opens a flavors-rich bouquet with notes of red fruits, cherry aromas, ripe hints of blueberry and blackberry, which develop into a gentle spice. On the palate, the same fruity aromas balanced by balanced round tannins. The finale is remarkably long, fruity and wonderfully soft.

Enjoy this powerful Merlot IGP Pays d'Oc from the South of France to dishes with light meat, beefsteak, meat pot, but also classic with tasty young and medium-sized mountain cheese from the region.
It is recommended to open this fruity-spicy Merlot about an hour before serving, so that it can unfold its aromatic fullness.
The Baron Philippe de Rothschild estate and the project "Les Cépages"
Since 1995, Baron Philippe de Rothschild has been producing varietal wines. The Baroness Philippine de Rotschild found the ideal conditions for this new project in the vineyards of the Languedoc-Roussillon, close to the Mediterranean coast and not far from the eastern Pyrenees.
The result was the line "Les Cépages" (French for grape variety), for the respective grape variety typical wines, modern, uncomplicated, with its own character, which particularly young people and wine novices should offer easy access to the world of the Rothschild wines, and the Baronesse also enjoyed itself.
