Les Cépages Cabernet Sauvignon IGP Pays d 'Oc by Baron Philppe de Rothschild is grown as a red wine, the vineyards are located in the best locations in Languedoc-Roussillon in the south of France. This powerful Cabernet Sauvignon presents itself in the glass intensely shiny deep red. On the nose, this Frenchman unfolds a bouquet of ripe aromas of black berries and slight hints of leather found on the palate, carried by silky tannins, a remarkable, powerful structure. The fruity, fresh and long finale makes this red wine taste nice.
Vinification of Les Cépages Cabernet Sauvignon Pays d 'Oc by Baron Philppe de Rothschild
Around the city of Limoux, the vines of the "Les Cépages" - wines find the best conditions in terroir and climate to perfectly develop their varietal aromas. The soils are heavily influenced by lime, sand and clay, hot temperatures during the day and the simultaneously cooling sea breeze from the Mediterranean help to convince the resulting wine with powerful body, rich, intense fruit and elegance.
The grapes from the different vineyard parcels are vinified separately. Only at the end of the process are they harmoniously coordinated with each other. The maceration of the grapes takes place before fermentation so that the fresh fruit aromas can be optimally extracted. Fermentation at a controlled temperature takes about six days, another 15 days of maceration is required before all other flavours, colours and tannins pass into the mash and give the wine its variety of aromas.

The Baron Philippe de Rothschild winery and the Les Cépages project
Since 1995, the Baron Philippe de Rothschild family has been producing grape varieties. The Baroness Philippine de Rotschild found the ideal conditions for this new project in the vineyards of the Languedoc-Roussillon, close to the Mediterranean coast and near the eastern Pyrenees.
The result was the line "Les Cépages" (French for grape variety), wines typical of each grape variety, modern, uncomplicated, with its own character, which should offer young people and wine newcomers in particular easy access to the world of Rothschild wines, and the baroness also enjoyed themselves.
