More information

Les Cassines Blanc by Paul Jaboulet Aîné from the French wine region Condrieu in the Rhône Valley is a grape varietal, soft and fresh white wine.

In the glass, this wine is bright, almost crystalline and shimmers with greenish highlights. The fresh floral-fruity bouquet of this varietal Viognier enchants the nose with fine aromas of apricots and peach. On the palate you can hear a round, lush and soft taste. The full body and the beautiful freshness in the reverberation perfect this French white wine.

Vinification of Les Cassines Paul Jaboulet Aîné Blanc

The Viognier grapes come from a two-hectare vineyard. The grapes are pressed in the wine cellar of  Paul Jaboulet Aîné as a whole and are then fermented partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in oak barrels. When the fermentation process is complete, the must is aged in both steel tanks (80%) and oak barrels (20%). Finally, this wine matures for some time on the bottle before it leaves the winery.

Food recommendation for the Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné Les Cassines Blanc

Enjoy this dry white wine from France for an aperitif, with fine seafood salads such as scampi and green apples or fried goose liver with mango.
