Vinification of the Mas Janeil Le Petit Pas rouge Côtes du Roussillon
This powerful red wine from France is cuvée from the grape varieties Carignan, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. In Languedoc-Roussillon, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and slate. The grapes for this red wine from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately enter the press house. Here they are selected and gently broken up. Fermentation follows in concrete and large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for 10 months in oak barrels.
