The barrel-aged Le Petit Mouton Pauillac 1er Cru Classé from the Bordeaux winegrowing region reveals a dense purple color in the glass. The powerful Le Petit Mouton Pauillac 1er Cru Classé from France is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and gravel. When perfect physiological maturity is assured, the grapes for Le Petit Mouton Pauillac 1er Cru Classé are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of punishing and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately transferred to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the powerful Le Petit Mouton Pauillac 1er Cru Classé is aged for several months in oak barrels.
