More information about Le Corti Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG - Sartori di Verona

The barrel-aged Le Corti Amarone della Valpolicella from the Veneto wine-growing region reveals a dense ruby red color in the glass. If you give it a little air in the wine glass by swirling it, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in church windows on the edge of the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from Italy presents wonderfully complex aromas of blackberry and violet, rounded off by toasted wood from the barrel ageing process.

On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully melting. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, Le Corti Amarone della Valpolicella flatters the palate with a soft sensation without lacking freshness. The finish of this well-matured red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region, more precisely from Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, finally delights with an exceptional aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the soils dominated by limestone and gravel.

Vinification of Le Corti Amarone della Valpolicella from Sartori di Verona

The basis for the powerful Le Corti Amarone della Valpolicella from Italy is grapes from the Trebbiano grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into limestone and gravel soils. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the powerful Le Corti Amarone della Valpolicella is aged for several months in oak barrels.
