Le Ciel Rouge Pays d'Oc from Les Domaines Paul Mas in the Languedoc presents a bright purple colour in the wine glass. The nose of this red wine from the Languedoc enchants with nuances of mulberry, blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry. As we continue to explore the aromas, we add oriental spices, black tea and cinnamon.
This red from Les Domaines Paul Mas is just the thing for all wine enthusiasts who like it dry. But it is never sparse or brittle, as you would expect from a wine beyond the supermarkets. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully dense. With its lively fruit acidity, Le Ciel Rouge Pays d'Oc is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this red wine from the Languedoc wine growing region finally inspires with its beautiful length. Once again there are hints of blueberry and wild berry confit.
Vinification of the Les Domaines Paul Mas Le Ciel Rouge Pays d'Oc
The balanced Le Ciel Rouge Pays d'Oc from France is a cuvée, vinified from the grape varieties Carignan, Garnacha, Merlot and Syrah. After the grape harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation on fine yeast for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
