More information

The Las Florales Cabernet Sauvignon by Volker Eisele is an expressive red wine from California, vinified exclusively from Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Nevarez family named one plot  Las Florales (The Flowers). There on this vineyard grows mustard, which blooms in a bright yellow.

This wine shines in the glass in a deep Bordeaux red with ruby red highlights. The nose is flattered by notes of ripe blackberries, red currants with nuances of cedar, flint and some vanilla. The palate is pampered by intense aromas of boysenberry and cassis. The character of this red wine is fruity, complex and intense. The round tannins are perfectly integrated into the full-bodied texture. The long-lasting finale is accompanied by hints of nutmeg, clove and some oak smoke.

Vinification of Volker Eisele Las Florales Cabernet Sauvignon

The grapes for this red wine come from the location Chiles Valley of the Las Florales plot.

Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are carefully harvested and carefully selected in the winery. The mash is then fermented in stainless steel tanks. For a total of 20 months, this wine is aged in French oak barriques (Ailler and Troncais - 55% new wood).

Food recommendation for the Las Florales Cabernet Sauvignon by Volker Eisele Family Estate

This dry red wine from California goes great with dishes with grilled meat and vegetables, or with strong stews and stews.
