The Langhe Nebbiolo DOC by La Spinetta presents itself with a dark, almost black ruby red in the glass and reveals its expressive bouquet. The aromas of plums, blackcurrant and blueberries meet. These notes are accompanied by a hint of peppermint.
This red wine from Piedmont is full-bodied and juicy with an elegant finish. A wine with a good acidity structure and fresh, noble tannins.
Vinification for the Langhe Nebbiolo DOC of La Spinetta
This red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo was subjected to alcoholic fermentation in a Rotofermenter for 7-8 days, the malolactic fermentation took place in oak wood. The Langhe Nebbiolo was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, then for 2 months in stainless steel tanks and then matured in the bottle for a further 12 months. Before bottling, this wine was not filtered or clarified.
