Castel Ringberg is the most important wine location of Elena Walch. It is located at 350 meters above sea level above Lake Caldaro. The climate here is considered to be particularly mild.
On the rather barren calcareous soils, wines with an exceptional authenticity are produced.
The mash fermentation takes about 10 days with the subsequent acid degradation. Maturation takes place for 20 months in French barriques, followed by bottling and long storage on the bottle.
