More information about La Croix des Vignes Saint-Joseph AOC - Paul Jaboulet Aîné

La Croix des Vignes Saint-Joseph from the pen of Paul Jaboulet Aîné of the Rhône Valley reveals a bright purple color in the wine glass. At the edge also shows a color transition to garnet red. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling, you can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like way. This single varietal French wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of blackberry jelly in the glass. This is joined by hints of black cherry and licorice.

On the palate, Paul Jaboulet Aîné's La Croix des Vignes Saint-Joseph opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully dense. The final of this mature red wine from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley, more precisely from Saint-Joseph, finally thrilled with considerable reverberation.

Vinification of the Paul Jaboulet Aîné La Croix des Vignes Saint-Joseph

The balanced La Croix des Vignes Saint-Joseph from France is a single varietal wine, vinified from the Syrah grape variety. La Croix des Vignes Saint-Joseph is an Old World wine through and through, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. After harvesting, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the elegant La Croix des Vignes Saint-Joseph is aged for several months in oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the La Croix des Vignes Saint-Joseph by Paul Jaboulet Aîné

This French red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, vegetable stew with pesto or veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes.
