The balanced Kremser Sandgrube Grüner Veltliner from Austria is a single varietal wine, made from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Lower Austria. Here the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loess. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Kremser Sandgrube Grüner Veltliner are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of punishing and less selective grape harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Kremser Sandgrube Grüner Veltliner can further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
