For more than forty years, José Pariente was a passionate winemaker, with a special passion for the Verdejo grape variety, native to Rueda. This love he passed on to his daughter Victoria, who opened the winery in its current form after completing studies in viticulture and enology. In memory of her father, she christened the winery"José Pariente". Here she creates innovative and equally traditional Spanish wines, specializing particularly in white wines.

Verdejo from the northern Meseta

The vineyards are located in the center of Castile in the gently rolling plateau of the Duero, the highest area of the Northern Meseta. In this rural area, the winery, equipped with modern facilities, is located near the vineyards. This allows the grapes to enter the cool fermentation rooms immediately after harvest, preserving the freshness and fruitiness that make Rueda wines so seductive. The climate in central Spain is continental, with hot summers and bitterly cold winters, yet still light breezes from the Atlantic and very welcome, especially in summer.
