The founder of Huerta de Albalà, Vicente Taberner Carsi, had a dream: to vinify unforgettable, excellent and great Andalusian red wines. With his team, he has held on to this dream - with unwavering will, perseverance and enthusiasm.

Reaching the ultimate goal was not the only focus for Huerta de Albalà. But also all the exciting experiences along the way, should flow into the wines.

The land where dreams come true

Huerta de Albalà is located 150 meters above sea level in Arcos de la Frontera. The estate extends over 91 hectares of rolling hills. Of these, 75 hectares are planted with 225000 vines of the following varieties:

• Syrah
• Merlot
• Cabernet Sauvignon
• Tintilla de Rota

In the Balbaina wine region in Jerez de la Frontera, Huerta de Albalà still owns 160 hectares of vineyards, mainly planted with Chardonnay vines.

Fantastic climatic conditions

The vines all grow in a unique microclimate that is characterized by the nearby Bornos Reservoir, the Grazalema mountain range and by diverse soil types

A wine cellar of dreams

The wine cellar of Huerta de Albalà is home to over 1200 oak barrels. After years of research on how the wine reacts to oaks of different geographical origins, only barrels from the best French cooperages are used.
