The elegant H.A.D.E.S. Pinot Noir from Weingut Sonnenhof comes into the glass with a bright light red color. This Weingut Sonnenhof red wine presents the nose with all kinds of dried apricots and oranges. As if that wasn't already impressive, the ageing in large wooden barrels adds black tea to the mix.
The Weingut Sonnenhof H.A.D.E.S. Pinot Noir tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with just 1.4 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this German wine naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. This dense red wine is balanced and multi-layered on the palate. Thanks to its vital fruit acidity, the H.A.D.E.S. Pinot Noir is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this red wine from the Württemberg wine-growing region finally delights with its beautiful length. Once again, there are hints of dried apricot and orange.
Vinification of the H.A.D.E.S. Pinot Noir from Weingut Sonnenhof
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Noir. Only flawless grapes were brought in for this exceptionally balanced single-varietal wine from Weingut Sonnenhof. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the elegant H.A.D.E.S. Pinot Noir is aged for several months in oak barrels.
