Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Terrassen - Domäne Wachau

The Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Terrassen from Domäne Wachau is a varietal, balanced white wine from the Austrian wine-growing region of Wachau in Lower Austria. 

In the glass, this wine shines in a great green-yellow. The bouquet is characterized by intense, fresh aromas of yellow apples and white pepper. In addition, there is some exotic fruit and delicate herbal notes. On the palate, the grape variety fruit is clearly in the foreground in the Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner Federspiel. Here, this Austrian white wine shows a refreshing acidity, juicy and harmonious with a fruity and spicy finish.

Vinification of the Domäne Wachau Federspiel Terrassen Grüner Veltliner

This Grüner Veltliner is made from grapes from steep terraced vineyards. In mid-October, the grapes for this wine are carefully harvested by hand. In the Domäne Wachau winery, the grapes are strictly selected and pressed. The must is pre-clarified overnight by the cold sedimentation and fermented the following day at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Aging is done exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh varietal fruit.
