With a little time in the glass, this white wine from Germany reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of peach, vineyard peach, nectarine and apple, rounded out by other fruity nuances.

On the palate, the Maybach Grauer Burgunder & Rivaner from Peter Mertes opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by a tremendously melting texture. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Maybach Grauer Burgunder & Rivaner reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of peach and quince show.

Vinification of the Peter Mertes Maybach Pinot Gris & Rivaner

This elegant white wine from Germany is made from the grape variety Pinot Gris and Rivaner. After the harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Maybach Pinot Gris is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months. After the wine is finished, the Maybach Grauer Burgunder is carefully harmonized.
