Vinification of the Gewürztraminer Alsace by André Stentz
The balanced Gewürztraminer Alsace from France is a single-varietal wine, organically produced from the Gewürztraminer grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
