The Gelber Muskateller from Weingut Sonnenhof in the Palatinate offers a brilliant, golden yellow color in the swirled glass. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from Germany offers wonderfully fragrant aromas of pear and peach, rounded off with mint/melissa.
The Gelber Muskateller can justifiably be described as particularly fruity and velvety, as it has been vinified with a pleasantly sweet taste profile. This powerful white wine is light-footed and complex on the palate. The Gelber Muskateller is extraordinarily fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its distinctive fruit acidity. On the finish, this wine from the Palatinate wine-growing region delights with its beautiful length. Once again, there are hints of peach and pear.
Vinification of the Gelber Muskateller from Weingut Sonnenhof
The elegant Gelber Muskateller from Germany is a single-varietal wine made from the Gelber Muskateller grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
