More information about Gelber Muskateller Loibner Federspiel - Emmerich Knoll

The elegant Gelber Muskateller Loibner Federspiel from the house of Emmerich Knoll shines into the glass with a bright golden yellow. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it stands out on the walls of the glass neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like. In the glass, this white wine from Emmerich Knoll presents aromas of apricots, ripe apple and honeydew melon, complemented by nutmeg. On the palate, Emmerich Knoll's Gelber Muskateller Loibner Federspiel opens pleasantly aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine presents itself wonderfully light. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria finally inspires with considerable length. Hints of ripe apple and apricot are again apparent.

Vinification of the Emmerich Knoll Gelber Muskateller Loibner Federspiel

The basis for the balanced Gelber Muskateller Loibner Federspiel from Lower Austria are grapes from the grape variety Gelber Muskateller. Gelber Muskateller Loibner Federspiel is an Old World wine through and through, as this Austrian exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The fact that the Gelber Muskateller grapes thrive under the influence of a rather cool climate also has an influence on the ripeness of the grapes that cannot be dismissed. This results, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and rather moderate alcohol content in the wine. After the manual harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Gelber Muskateller Loibner Federspiel can harmonize further for several months on the fine lees.
