Fassbind - Original Schwyz brandies since 1846

The Fassbind distillery was founded more than 160 years ago in Oberarth in the canton of Schwyz. However, the family's distilling tradition can be traced back to the late Middle Ages, when the forefathers of the Fassbind family planted cherry orchards in the region to distill delicious cherry brandy from the sweet fruit. Only ten years after the opening of production, Napoleon III awarded the gold medal to the Fassbind distillery at the Paris Exhibition.

Enjoyment with spirit - Fassbind

Fassbind's philosophy is the return to enjoyment with spirit, a play on words with an ambiguous meaning. On the one hand, people should return to the moderate enjoyment of traditional alcoholic beverages in convivial company, but on the other hand they should do so consciously and enjoy according to the maxim "quality instead of quantity". Fassbind's noble fruit brandies are ideally suited for this purpose, as they banish and preserve the best of the fruit in the distillery's bottles for decades.
