The Estate Pinotage by Fairview Wines is presented in the glass in a dark crimson and unfolds its bouquet, which seduces with the aromas of cranberries, plums and violets. These notes are rounded off by fine spicy nuances.
This South African red wine is fleshy on the palate and has soft tannins before turning into a full-bodied reverberation with fine mocha tones. The wonderful fruit and the pleasant acidity offer a wonderful interaction with this wine.
Vinification for the Fairview Wines Estate Pinotage
The grapes are destemmed and crushed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks and open paddles. After completion of malolactic fermentation, the wine spends 10 months in new French and American oak barrels.
