Enzo Boglietti

From farmer to winemaker

Azienda Enzo Boglietti is a family business from La Morra in Piedmont. In 1991, the family decided to make their wine commercially available. The Bogliettis were originally farmers who, due to the dairy crisis in the 1980s, switched their production completely to wine, converting their barns into cellars and processing the grapes themselves, which had previously been delivered to a local cantine.

Family growth

The family's vineyards originally consisted of 3 hectares, which originally came from Matteo Boglietti, the owners' grandfather. Through their mother, they inherited additional vineyards, so that today the vineyards cover 22 hectares. The most famous wines of the Bogliettis today are the Barolos, which are aged for a long time in wood and bottled unfiltered.
