If you give it some air in the glass by swirling it, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which is evident in clear church windows at the edge of the glass. To the nose, this Winzer Krems red wine presents all sorts of blackberries.

Vinification of the Edition Chremisa Barrique Blauer Zweigelt by Winzer Krems
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Zweigelt. For this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Winzer Krems, only the best grape material was brought in. In Lower Austria, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loam and loess. The grapes for this red wine from Austria, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
