In the picturesque Pouilly-sur-Loire, the Saget family has been practicing the fine art of winemaking for eight generations now and runs the Domaine Guy Saget winery.

This has resulted in a collection of the best Loire appellations, as countless relationships with other winemakers have been established. It was also possible to build up a knowledge of viticulture over generations, with which the most favorable climates as well as the best soil in each appellation were sought out. At the same time, Guy Saget has never lost its passion for wine. It is in each of the wines of the signature portfolio, in addition to the great expertise.

Four wins at Domaine Guy Saget

At Domaine Guy Sage t, the wines are fermented traditionally. This is how they manage to give the wines their own personality and represent the full potential of the Loire region. Today, the family cultivates a total of 240 hectares of vines, distributed over different terroirs. The winery, whose roots date back to 1790, is now run by Jean-Louis Saget and his sons Laurent and Arnaud. The estate includes a total of four wineries: the Domaine Saget, the Domaine de Terres Blanches, the Domaine des Grandes Espérances and the Château de la Mulonnière. Each of these estates specializes in certain wines and grape varieties. However, each estate has its own oenologist who is responsible for the wines produced there.

But what all the wineries have in common is the fact that you can clearly feel the passion and philosophy of the founder, Guy Saget. The choice of soils for each grape variety is crucial. Innovation, tradition, quality and respect for nature are also the basis for the quality of the wines.
