More information about Domaine de Roure Crozes-Hermitage AOC - Paul Jaboulet Aîné

With the Paul Jaboulet Aîné Domaine de Roure Crozes-Hermitage comes a first-class red wine in the glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully dense crimson color. With a bit of side lay, the wine glass reveals a charming garnet red hue at the rims. Giving it some air in the glass by swirling, this red wine reveals a high density and richness, which is evident in church windows at the rim of the glass. With a little time in the glass, this Old World red wine reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of strawberry, red currant and violet, rounded out by other fruity nuances contributed by aging in wooden barrels.

On the palate, the Domaine de Roure Crozes-Hermitage of Paul Jaboulet Aîné opens pleasantly aromatic, fruity and balanced. On the tongue, this punchy red wine is characterized by an immensely dense texture. In the finish, this well storable red wine from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of red currant and strawberry show.

Vinification of the Paul Jaboulet Aîné Domaine de Roure Crozes-Hermitage

This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Syrah. Only the best grape material was brought in for this exceptionally powerful varietal wine from Paul Jaboulet Aîné. Of course, Domaine de Roure Crozes-Hermitage is also determined by climate and viticultural style Crozes-Hermitage. This French wine can literally be called an Old World wine, which is extraordinarily impressive. After the harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
