more information

The Deschants Saint Joseph AOC by M. Chapoutier shines garnet red in the glass. On the nose, this French red wine presents a floral bouquet with aromas of licorice and herbs. On the palate, M. Chapoutier's Deschants tastes soft and harmonious with well-integrated tannins and red fruits. The aftertaste is long, elegant and spicy.

Vinification of the Deschant Saint Joseph by M. Chapoutier

This red wine is made exclusively from Syrah grapes. After the selective hand, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages in tanks for 12 to 18 months and a small part in wooden barrels.

Food pairing for the Deschants Saint Joseph by M. Chapoutier

This French red wine from the northern Rhone Valley is an excellent companion to fish in tapenade, small game, powerful fish and poultry, lamb, roasted pork, as well as mature hard cheese and spicy soft cheese.
