More information about Dolce & Gabbana Tancredi Rosso IGT - Donnafugata
The powerful Tancredi Rosso Terre Siciliane from Donnafugata comes to the table in a wonderful Dolce & Gabbana edition. It shimmers a dense purple red in the glass. After the first swirl, this cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Nero d'Avola and Tannat reveals a high level of viscosity, which can be seen in the strong stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. The first nose of Dolce & Gabbana Tancredi reveals notes of blackcurrants, plums and blueberries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing such as light tobacco, dark chocolate and liquorice.
This Italian red wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste and lively fruit acidity, which, together with grippy tannins, gives it good ageing potential. The finish of this well-maturing red wine from the Terre Siciliane wine-growing region impresses with a great aftertaste.
Vinification of the Dolce & Gabbana Tancredi Rosso Terre Siciliane from Donnafugata
The powerful Dolce & Gabbana Tancredi from Italy is a cuvée made from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Nero d'Avola and Tannat grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels for 14 days at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Dolce & Gabbana Tancredi is aged for 12 months in French oak barriques and then matured for a further 2 years in the bottle after bottling.
