More information

The Cuvee This Brut from the wine-growing region of Veneto reveals itself in the glass in brilliant shimmering platinum yellow. The play of pearls of this spumante shows vitality and persistence in the glass. This wine also shows reflections in the core. The first nose of Cuvee This Brut presents of gooseberries and white currants. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.

This dry spumante from Borgo Molino is for wine connoisseurs who like it absolutely dry. In the finish, this Spumante from the wine-growing region of Veneto finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of white currant and gooseberry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by gravel and sand are added.

Vinification of the Cuvee This Brut from Borgo Molino

The elegant Cuvee This Brut from Italy is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Glera and Riesling. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sand, gravel and marl. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation of the base wines according to the Metodo Ganymede. In this process, the resulting carbon dioxide is directed past the marc cap and blown in from the side, so that the cap is well mixed. This not only ensures a higher aroma extraction, the Co2 also provides more hygiene in the tank, so that finally less sulfurization is required.

Food recommendation for the Borgo Molino Cuvee This Brut

Experience this Spumante from Italy ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to coconut-lime fish curry, fruity endive salad or roasted trout with ginger pear.

Beautiful fruity aperitif...

Good secco with a fruity taste at a fair price.
