More information about Cuvée Speciale Côtes Du Rhône Rouge AOP - Maison Tardieu-Laurent
In the glass, the organically produced Cuvée Speciale Côtes Du Rhône Rouge of Maison Tardieu-Laurent offers a dense purple color. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high density and richness, which is evident in church windows at the edge of the glass. This single varietal French wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of sour cherries, blackberries and black currants in the glass. This is joined by hints of toasted wood.
This red from Maison Tardieu-Laurent is just right for all wine enthusiasts who like as little residual sugar in the wine as possible. However, it is never sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. This velvety red wine is full-bodied and multifaceted on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Cuvée Speciale Côtes Du Rhône Rouge flatters with a pleasing palate feeling, without lacking juicy liveliness. The finale of this red wine with good aging potential from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley, more precisely from Cotes du Rhone Villages, finally thrills with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the Cuvée Speciale Côtes Du Rhône Rouge from Maison Tardieu-Laurent
The powerful Cuvée Speciale Côtes Du Rhône Rouge from France is a single-varietal wine, organically pressed from the Grenache grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak barriques.
