The Walfried Sander Cuvée Red Rheinhessen presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this silky red wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Cuvée Rot Rheinhessen is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of sour cherry and blackberry show.

Vinification of the Cuvée Rot Rheinhessen by Walfried Sander

The balanced Cuvée Rot Rheinhessen from Germany is a cuvée, organically produced from the grape varieties Dornfelder and Regent. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

This German red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to fruity endive salad, asparagus salad with quinoa or cabbage roulades.
