We love to meet like-minded people, who want to enjoy selected quality at an affordable price, both while drinking and eating. Our shop
VINELLO is a family-run, medium-sized company based in Dresden. Specialized in the wholesale and retail of wine and spirits, we supply customers (almost) all over the world. On all channels, in the most modern way.

In addition, with the depot VINELLO.store on the Bamberger Straße, where we offer tangible contact with our partners and guests. The offer is aimed at private individuals, gastronomy and other tradesmen.

In short: we have wine.
We used to deliver from our own cellar. We have continuously grown to become one of the largest online merchants for wine and spirits in Germany. This not only makes us proud, but also gives us a great responsibility towards our customers. We will continue to offer high-quality products that will satisfy your enjoyment. We regularly visit our partner wineries and try out the latest vintages and trends. We bring along the best wines. A lot of expertise in wine purchasing and personal relationships with vineyards enable us to offer you fair prices and attractive quantity discounts. Besides our wine assortment, we also trade in spirits, sparkling wine, champagne, prosecco and more. Wine for everyone, and all the rest as well.

Our History

2009 - Sex or drugs?
It was dark times. Hardly any wine in Dresden, hardly any hope for connoisseurs. But the married couple Katja and René Harnisch set out to confront the dry throats of the city. Turning our hobby into a profession - only what hobby? Considering the options, the decision was made in favour of wine - one likes to drink. Especially after the birth of daughter Greta - a wonderful day to start an internet business. So began in June 2009 onlinewweinkeller.de in our own four walls. More precisely, in our own cellar. No larger than the room you're probably in right now. 5,000 bottles of wine and spirits. The first customers were not long in coming: A homeless shelter in Hamburg, 6 bottles of rum. The beginning of a success story.

The vision was as true then as it is now. Customer satisfaction is our top priority. And the customers were satisfied. Both online and in the shop on Königsbrücker Straße. One was curious what the future had in store.

2011 - Cellar wines nice and good...
...,but the wine trade construct had to change. A separate, universal and independent platform was needed. Without middlemen and the like. A real omnichannel. A suitable name was easily found. VINELLO.de - The start for one of Germany's largest online retailers for wine, spirits and even more fun. With the claim "Wine for All" it was clearly communicated that this was not an elitist or snobby business. For the sommelier his Château Leoville-Las-Cases 2ème Grand Cru Saint-Julien AOC 2009, for the layman his bottle of white wine. To each his own bottle.

2016 - A little tight in here
Cellar, store, all full of alcohol. What basically doesn't sound so bad at all, slowly became problematic. The increasing demand caused a lot of bureaucracy, logistics and a lack of space. It was time to leave the nest and give VINELLO its own home. April 2016. Bamberger Street for more bang. A large storage for over 6,700 different types of wine and spirits.

All well and good online. But people need people. Something to touch, to fondle, to try. A place where pleasure-oriented customers can meet and dwell together. The VINELLO.store, a shop in the Centrum Galerie Dresden, was opened. Designed by Dresden architect Alexander Poetzsch, the shop layout is reminiscent of a wine cellar - back to the roots. Here you meet experienced sommeliers and a lot of bottles. Come by, we look forward to seeing you!

2017 - Wine and Wurst - Visiting the stadium
Since the 2017/2018 season, the DDV Stadium has been enjoying the "most beautiful wine terrace in town" - the VINELLO Dynamo VIP Zone. As a partner of SG Dynamo Dresden, we provide fans and spectators with delicious moves, uh wine. Unique in German professional football you now see the SGD with a wine instead of beer. Or with both. But don't forget to support Dynamo.

VINELLO is always socially active with its stadium wine lounge, as sponsor of the Hope Gala and the Ice Fairy Tale and through cooperation with foundations and initiatives. Our wine trade sees itself as more than just a shop - we are ambassadors of good taste and joie de vivre. Values that we are happy to share with everyone. You too? We are open to new ideas.
