More information about Culinaria Chenin Blanc - Leopard's Leap

The barrel-aged Culinaria Chenin Blanc from the wine-growing region of the Western Cape appears in the glass in bright platinum yellow. The bouquet of this white wine from the Western Cape enchants with nuances of peach, pear and pineapple. It is its fruity nature that makes this wine so special.

The Leopard's Leap Culinaria Chenin Blanc presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Culinaria Chenin Blanc presents itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of the Western Cape finally inspires with good length. Hints of peach and pineapple show again.

Vinification of the Leopard's Leap Culinaria Chenin Blanc

The balanced Culinaria Chenin Blanc from South Africa is a single varietal wine, vinified from the Chenin Blanc grape variety. After the harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the elegant Culinaria Chenin Blanc is aged for another 11 months in French oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Culinaria Chenin Blanc from Leopard's Leap

This South African is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spaghetti with yogurt mint pesto, Japanese style filet of turbot with vegetable julienne or red onion stuffed with couscous and apricots.
