Barolo Cru Ravera Riserva DOCG 2014 - Lo Zoccolaio
Prices incl. VAT plus shipping costs
The exclusive Barolo Cru Ravera DOCG from Lo Zoccolaio in Piedmont shines garnet red in the glass, on the nose rich, complex and tart at the same time, with scents of ripe red fruits and mineral, spicy notes in the background. On the palate this elegant Barolo Cru presents itself full-bodied, warm, soft, with beautifully integrated, not obtrusive tannins. Long lasting, balanced finish.
Vinification of the Barolo Cru Ravera DOCG from Cascina Lo Zoccolaio
The vineyard Cru Ravera is the eponym for this splendid Barolo from Lo Zoccolaio, the Nebbiolo grapes for this wine come exclusively from this single vineyard site. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented whole on the skins for 10 to 15 days, after which the wine is aged for 36 months in large oak barrels.
Food pairing for the Barolo Cru Ravera from Cascina Lo Zoccolaio
A magnificent red wine from Piedmont, which can perfectly accompany dishes with red meat, braised meat, game, mature cheese from cow and sheep. But also as a wine for meditation, in a round with friends or by the fireplace, an absolute pleasure.
