The Crianza Rioja of Viña Olabarri from La Rioja offers a dense ruby color in the swirled glass. Held at a slight angle, a transition of color toward garnet red is evident at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. The nose of this red wine from La Rioja convinces with aromas of elderberry, sour cherry and blackberry. If we trace the aromatics further, toasted wood comes in.
The Crianza Rioja from Viña Olabarri is a good choice for all wine lovers who like as little sweetness in the wine as possible. However, it never shows itself to be sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully velvety. Vinification of the Crianza Rioja from Viña Olabarri
This powerful red wine from Spain is organically vinified from the Tempranillo grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes immediately enter the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
