The Duca di Salaparuta Corvo Rosso Terre Siciliane is a first-class red wine. It shows a wonderfully brilliant, ruby red colour. The bouquet of this red wine from Sicily fascinates with nuances of black currant, black cherry, blueberry and mulberry
The Corvo Rosso Terre Siciliane from Duca di Salaparuta is ideal for all wine lovers who like it dry. However, it is never dry or brittle, as you would expect from a wine in the upper price range. Due to the balanced fruit acid, the Corvo Rosso Terre Siciliane flatters with a soft feeling on the palate, without missing out on juicy liveliness.
Vinification of the Duca di Salaparuta Corvo Rosso Terre Siciliane
The basis for the elegant Corvo Rosso Terre Siciliane from Sicily are grapes from the Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Sicily. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation of 12 months in oak barrels.
Food recommendation for the Corvo Rosso Terre Siciliane from Duca di Salaparuta
This Italian is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It goes perfectly as an accompanying wine to Boeuf Bourguignon, leek soup or leek tortilla.
