The Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG of Ponte Viticoltori perfectly represents the world of Prosecco. Brilliant straw yellow in the glass with fine perlage, bouquet typical of the grape variety with scents of citrus fruits, with nuances of floral notes. On the palate it delights with an elegant body with fruity notes, soft and velvety, with a fresh, soft and fruity finish.
Vinification of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG by Ponte
For the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, only the best grapes from the best sites of the vineyards around Valdobbiadene are selected and processed. For the Prosecco is traditionally used exclusively the grape variety Glera, which here in the region is also simply called Prosecco grape. The vines grow on soils characterized by strong red bunter and gravel. After harvesting, the selected grapes are cold pressed and fermentation is temperature controlled. The sparkling wine is produced according to the Charmat method, the slow sparkling, which can last up to six months, takes place in stainless steel tanks - the longer, the finer the perlage. Freshness and aromas of the grape variety are best preserved in this way. The Prosecco is then bottled in classic sparkling wine bottles and sealed with champagne corks.
