Cognac Napoleon from Cognac Chabasse is a harmonious, powerful brandy made from Ugni Blanc (80%), Colombard (15%) and Folle Blanche (5%) grapes.
In the glass, this cognac glows in a warm amber with orange-red highlights. The warm bouquet is characterized by the long wooden maturity. Aromas of juicy apricots are revealed along with delicate port notes (ripe black fruits), sweet spices - especially vanilla) as well as nuances of oak wood. With an expressive personality, this French brandy takes the palate skilfully. The elegant aromas of the nose are reflected and are surrounded by a present, gentle body. At the same time, this cognac has a powerful fullness that accompanies the long, aromatic aftertaste.Vinification of the Chabasse
Cognac Napoleon The grapes for this cognac are harvested very early and fermented
to a strong acidic white wine. The acid protects against oxidation as cognac is not sulphurized. This base wine is now distilled twice in a copper burner using the traditional Charentaiser distillation process. Wooden barrels made of limousine oak are selected for maturation. This cognac matures in it for 12 years.
