With the Château De Caraguilhes Cochon Volant Blanc comes a first-class organic white wine in the swirled glass. In this it presents a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. This French cuvée presents wonderfully expressive notes of ripe apple and lemon in the glass. These are joined by hints of mineral and mint/melissa.
On the palate, Château De Caraguilhes' Cochon Volant Blanc opens delightfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. There are dry and really dry. This white wine belongs to the second group, because it was bottled with only 0.2 grams of residual sugar. Balanced and complex, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Cochon Volant Blanc flatters with a velvety feel on the palate, without lacking freshness. In the finish, this youthful white wine from France finally inspires with beautiful length. Hints of lemon and ripe apple show up again.
Vinification of the Cochon Volant Blanc from Château De Caraguilhes
Colombard, Grenache Blanc and Viognier grapes are the starting point for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Cuvée Cochon Volant Blanc from Château De Caraguilhes. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are selected and gently broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Cochon Volant Blanc can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

This French white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to stir-fried vegetables with fish, spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto or roasted trout with ginger pear.
