Vinification of the San Giorgio Ciampoleto Rosso di Montalcino
This powerful red wine from Italy is made organically from the Sangiovese grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a few months of ageing in oak barrels.
