More information about Chianti Colli Senesi Berardenga DOCG - Felsina
The Chianti Colli Senesi Berardenga by Felsina from Tuscany reveals a bright, ruby red color in the swirled glass. This Felsina red wine reveals all kinds of plums to the nose. As if that wasn't already impressive, black cherry and tobacco are added to the mix thanks to the ageing in small wooden barrels.
This Italian wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the high quality wine range, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need residual sugar. This dense red wine is balanced and multi-faceted on the palate. This youthful wine from the Tuscany wine-growing region finally delights on the finish with considerable length. Once again, there are hints of plum.
Vinification of Felsina Chianti Colli Senesi Berardenga
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Sangiovese. Only the best grapes were harvested for this exceptionally balanced single-varietal wine from Felsina. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by ageing for several months in French oak barrels.
