Château Sociando-Mallet Haut Médoc by Château Sociando-Mallet is a deep dark, almost opaque, dense purple colour. The juicy, fruity bouquet reveals aromas of plums, blueberries, ripe blackberries and spices, finely interwoven with notes of earth, forest soil and white flowers. This is underlined by oak nuances. On the straight and dense palate, it shows muscular, excellently structured tannins and an impressive power. Both are enveloped by fruity cherry and plum notes as well as nuances of red berries. All in all a wine full of energy and of great class, well balanced and absolutely promising.
Recommended food for the Château Sociando-Mallet Haut Médoc
It is a delicious accompaniment to braised oxtail, roast beef or lamb, game dishes with fruity sauces and spicy mature cheese.
