Vignobles Greffier History

For more than 150 years and 5 generations, Vignobles Greffier has been producing an exclusive selection of dry white wines that make you a specialist throughout Bordeaux. Located in Entre Deux Mers around the highest point of the Gironde, the domain has always belonged to the Greffier family. On this site, in collaboration with the Association for Natural Areas of Aquitaine, careful work is done to preserve all the biodiversity and identify rare species.

Les Vignobles soils

With its clay-limestone soils, the Entre Deux Mers region has always been known for the exceptional quality of its white wines. Les Vignobles Greffier has opted for a total grass cover and a density of no more than 3300 vines per hectare to promote the quality of the harvest and better control the maturity of each grape variety. Since the end of 2017, commit to the SME Charter (Environmental Management System) to manage the vineyards in an environmentally responsible way. The goal today is to obtain the double certification ISO 14001 and HVE (High Environmental Value). Since the end of 2019, you are HVE3 and Vegan certified.

Les Vignobles cellar conversion to modernity

Les Vignobles Greffier has implemented the most accurate temperature management in its cellars. This from harvesting the different grape varieties to bottling with thermoregulation of each tank as well as air-conditioned buildings to keep your dry white wines as good as possible. Ludovic Greffier applies a very precise methodology that has been used for several generations. Maceration, cold storage, fermentation at low temperature, ageing on fine lees are some of the keys to the conception of your wines. Finally, aging on fine lees, cold saturation and thorough tangential filtration.
