With the Vignobles Carrere Château La Fleur Grands Landes Montagne Saint-Émilion comes a first-class red wine in the glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully bright, crimson color. Tilting the glass slightly, a transition of color towards garnet red can be seen at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. Poured into a Bordeaux glass, this Old World red wine offers wonderfully expressive aromas of sour cherry, blackberry and black currant, rounded out by chocolate and licorice contributed by aging in wooden barrels.
This French wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the high quality wine range, this French wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this mature wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of blackberry and black currant. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the gravel-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Château La Fleur Grands Landes Montagne Saint-Émilion by Vignobles Carrere
The balanced Château La Fleur Grands Landes Montagne Saint-Émilion from France is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Bordeaux. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of gravel. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in small wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a few months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
