More information about Château Hauchat Fronsac AOC - Famille Saby

With the Famille Saby Château Hauchat Fronsac comes a first-class red wine in the wine glass. Here it offers a wonderfully dense, crimson color. The first nose of Château Hauchat Fronsac flatters with nuances of sour cherries, blackberry jelly and red currant. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.

The Famille Saby Château Hauchat Fronsac presents itself to the connoisseur pleasantly dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. This fleshy red wine is full-bodied and multifaceted on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux, more precisely from Fronsac, finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the limestone-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Famille Saby Château Hauchat Fronsac

This powerful red wine from France is made from the Merlot grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Bordeaux. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for 12 months in oak barriques.

Food recommendation for Famille Saby Château Hauchat Fronsac

This French red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes or baked sheep's cheese parcels.
