More information about Charta Riesling trocken - Allendorf
The barrel-aged Charta Riesling from the Rheingau wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in a bright light yellow. This single-varietal German wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of apple, peach, mirabelle plum and pear in the glass. There are also hints of minerals.
This light white wine is balanced and multi-layered on the palate. The Charta Riesling is extraordinarily fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its distinctive fruit acidity. On the finish, this wine from the Rheingau wine-growing region, which is easy to age, finally delights with its beautiful length. Once again, there are hints of peach and apricot.
Vinification of the Charta Riesling from Allendorf
The basis for the balanced Charta Riesling from the Rheingau is grapes from the Riesling grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
