Champs Lalot Givry 1er Cru AOP - Domaine des Ecullières
More information about Champs Lalot Givry 1er Cru AOP - Domaine des Ecullières
The Champs Lalot Givry 1er Cru from Domaine des Ecullières of Burgundy shows a bright, light red color in the glass. Held at a slight angle, a transition of wine color toward garnet red is evident at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. When swirling the glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like manner. The first nose of Champs Lalot Givry 1er Cru presents notes of plums and raspberries. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as earthy.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the top wine range, this Frenchman naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need residual sugar. Balanced and multifaceted, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this mature red wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of plum and raspberry appear.
