More information about Chambertin Grand Cru AOC - Domaine Trapet
The barrel-aged Chambertin Grand Cru from the Burgundy wine-growing region offers a bright light red in the glass. The first nose of Chambertin Grand Cru flatters with nuances of strawberries and raspberries. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Domaine Trapet Chambertin Grand Cru presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine lover. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully dense. In the finish, this very storable wine from the wine-growing region of Burgundy finally inspires with exceptional length. There are again hints of strawberry and raspberry.
Vinification of the Chambertin Grand Cru from Domaine Trapet
The balanced Chambertin Grand Cru from France is a single-varietal wine, organically vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in French oak barrels.
