More information about Chambertin Clos de Bèze Rouge Grand Cru AOC - Henri Boillot

In the glass, the Chambertin Clos de Bèze Rouge Grand Cru from Henri Boillot shows a dense light red color. Poured into a Burgundy goblet, this red wine from the Old World presents wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberry, sour cherry, raspberry and black currant, rounded off by further fruity nuances contributed by aging in wooden barrels.

The Henri Boillot Chambertin Clos de Bèze Rouge Grand Cru presents itself to the wine connoisseur wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully dense. In the finish, this excellent storable wine from the Burgundy wine region finally inspires with exceptional length. Again, hints of black currant and sour cherry show.

Vinification of Henri Boillot Chambertin Clos de Bèze Rouge Grand Cru

The powerful Chambertin Clos de Bèze Rouge Grand Cru from France is a single-varietal wine, pressed from the Pinot Noir grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the powerful Chambertin Clos de Bèze Rouge Grand Cru is aged for several more months in French oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Chambertin Clos de Bèze Rouge Grand Cru by Henri Boillot

This French red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes, roasted calf's liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
